Three-Fold Voyage Kit

$145.00

Our three-fold voyage kit represents the continuity and the circular motion of time observed by us in this vivarium – inspired by the stele of Babylonian King Meli-Shipak II, exhibited in the Louvre Museum, where he introduces his daughter to the goddess Nanāja; the patron of lovers including rejected or betrayed ones, under the watch of the Three Primal Spectators; the goddess Ishtar; as the Star, the god Shamash; as the solar disc, the goddess Sin; as the crescent moon.

Carefully and delicately manufactured by hand and soul in our workshop, the symbols cast in brass come as zipper-ends, exhibit themselves in order of appearance as we first identify the Star, the Sun and lastly the Moon with the naked eye.

Material: The outer lining of this special kit is in silk with a floral pattern whereas the sky blue inner lining is handwoven traditional Turkish fabric only found in Antep region which is a mixture of soft cotton and rayon.

Dimensions: 19cm x 33cm

Care: Dry Clean Only
