Forever fascinated and inspired by Gobeklitepe statues and stone carvings, communicating us from 13,000 years beyond we present you with this marvel; A Vetement Talyxmanique, narrating the tale of Talyx Kozmogenesis; our understanding of ‘things’.
Plate 1: On the left side the opportunity/luck is cast by the Astral Foxes
Plate 2: On the right side the possibility/spirit is carried by the Crane
Plate 3: On the back side the fallen, the goat is succumbed to the meta, falls to earth.
Plate 4: Trousers, The potential/the bud with the dormant spirit growing towards the sky
Each plate is woodblock printed with the above mentioned narrative and formed into a two-piece vetement narrative, a shirt and matching trousers.
Each block is carved by hand and soul in our workshop, each symbol with its intended colour, we only use organic and traditional dyes.
The fabric is an incredibly soft 4 times handloomed 100% organic (muslin) cotton, pre-washed with vegan shampoo, locally sourced from a traditional manufacturer in Turkey, Sile region. 100% Vegan.
The powder pink collar and other linings is soft ‘meydaniye’ fabric sourced from a very traditional manufacturer in Antep region, Turkey.
This piece is made to order, please allow us 3 to 4 weeks for its meticulous preparation, for it will be created from scratch, by hand. The product will be shipped in 3-4 business days after its completion, you will be informed throughout the process.
Care: Slow cycle, cold machine wash, do not bleach, prefer plant based shampoos, do not tumble dry, steam iron in cotton setting.
